Sylt, Germany - After seven days of grueling wave and race world cup action here in at the Labello, Sylt, PWA, 2003 Grand Slam, the wind has finally turned offshore and died. With ten races and a full men and women’s double elimination wave competition in the bag this years 20th anniversary event will no doubt be remembered as one of the most exciting in PWA history. The superb German organization, raging parties and massive crowds have all added to the huge success of this year’s event, which concluded this afternoon with the prize giving ceremony on the Sylt promenade. |
